These necklaces are teeth ethically sourced from the wild boar, which is revered as a powerful and fierce animal and considered a messenger between the human and spirit world. South American shamans use the boars tooth necklace as a significant tool that symbolizes their connection with the spirit world and role as a healer. It is believed that wearing the necklace during ceremonies allows the shaman to receive guidance and strength from the spirit world, while also offering protection from negative energies and harmful spirits.

The shaman creates the necklace by sustainably collecting the teeth during a hunting expedition, in which every part of the animal is used for an intentional purpose, or,  by receiving them as a gift from an elder Shaman of the tribe. Once cleaned and polished, the teeth are strung together to create a piece of jewelry that can be worn around the neck or carried in a pouch.

During ceremony, wearing the boars tooth necklace helps the shaman connect with the spirit world and access deeper levels of consciousness. It also provides protection to the shaman and participants from negative energies and spiritual entities encountered during the ceremony. Overall, the boar tooth necklace is a powerful symbol that represents the shaman's connection with the spirit world, role as a healer, and protection during spiritual work.

Each of these necklace was hand made with a lot of love by the Kamëntsá tribe of Colombia, master practitioners of Yagé, & created with the intention to protect its wearer and to bring guidance and strength from the spirit world.

Each necklace is strung on a beautiful hand woven and waxed macrame cord, with adjustable length, which will last for countless years to come.
