Mapacho has held an important place in Amazonian ceremonial traditions for generations, where it is associated with prayer, offerings, purification, protection, and connection with the natural world.

Our Premium Mapacho comes from the rural community of Mahuiso in Loreto, Peru. Unlike fermented preparations commonly found in some traditions, this heirloom Mapacho is traditionally dried and aged without fermentation, preserving its natural character and creating an exceptionally smooth profile.

Loose-leaf Mapacho is particularly versatile for traditional practices and may be used ceremonially in a pipe, burned as an aromatic offering, incorporated into altar work, or offered directly to the Earth.

Please inspect your applicator immediately upon delivery. Any damage must be reported within 3 days of tracking showing “delivered.” Due to their handmade nature, these tools are not eligible for replacement or refund if breakage is reported after this window.

Care Tips - Sacred tools require mindful attention

• Handle with care — avoid dropping, impact, pressure, or twisting (stone, wood, and resin may crack).

• Wipe exterior with light alcohol. Do not soak, use harsh chemicals, or water.

• For internal cleaning, use a Q-tip with alcohol.

• Store away from sunlight. Use a padded pouch or secure case during travel.
