I wanted to write a review in this day of gratitude! Thank you so very much for bringing Mariposa to this community! I have experience many many plant medicine journeys, probably in the multiple 100s. This includes ayahuasca, psilocybin, peyote, San Pedro, 5MEO, and others now Mariposa maybe 6 times and let me tell you two of these journeys rank in the top 5 of my life. The transformations I’ve experienced - life changing! So gracias from the bottom of my heart! I must restock as this is now my go to entheogen! With honor and reverence and appreciation! I return to the cocoon and emerge reborn! Thank you Nate! Thank you team! You are incredible!
Mariposa is phenomenal. It’s gentle and loving, but incredibly powerful. I’ve worked with it a few times now, and each experience felt like a cross between a D.M.T microdose and a light mushroom journey. It’s hard to explain, but it’s deep.
My sweet spot was 2 cocoon capsules. 1 cap was gentle and soothing for the soul. 3 caps was much more intense (I would reserve this for more serious issues or full moon ceremonies) but still beautiful. Definitely order extra capsules so you can find your ideal dose.
The medicine came on slowly, building over about 10 minutes. The peak lasted over an hour, and I felt totally clear afterward—happy, light, and deeply connected. That afterglow stayed with me all day. It felt like being fully sober but on the best day of my life.
Over the weekend I shared Mariposa with a friend while camping. He’s been struggling with serious addictions to hard drugs. He took 4 Cocoon capsules (when I recommended 2) and had a very strong experience with clear visions and emotional breakthroughs. Since then, he hasn’t used drugs, cannabis, or cigarettes. Something shifted for him! I honestly think this medicine saved his life!!!

I’d been waiting on Mariposa for a while, and it did not disappoint.
Before the ceremony, I set my space with intention — candlelight, a little Palo Santo, and a few items on my altar that hold family meaning. About an hour before, I took the Cocoon Pill, which brought a gentle warmth through my body and an openness that felt like it was preparing me for what was to come.
When I introduced the Mariposa hape’, that warmth met the medicine perfectly. There was a brief moment where it felt like my body disappeared and only awareness remained — stillness, light, and deep peace.
It wasn’t like ayahuasca or some of the other ceremonies I’ve done — there were no big visuals or waves — but it was powerful in its own quiet way. The experience felt clean, balanced, and full of wisdom.
As a breathwork guide, I created a short Warrior Breathwork sequence to honor the Mariposa. The medicine guided the breath, not the other way around — grounding, heart-opening, and deeply restorative.
Highly recommend this one. Mariposa is easily one of my favorite hape’ blends — gentle, mystical, and full of heart. Wish I could have bought one of the bigger bottles! I’m still integrating the journey almost 24 hours later. Next time I will double the cocoon dose and see where the journey guides me.

So far, I have only tried the lavender hape, and the apurina. Both are similar in gentleness, but the lavender has a more pleasant smell to me, and is a little stronger in effects. Apurina is great for settling in peace and narrowing the mind's eye into what you need to focus on. Can't wait to try out the rest of my order, just been taking it slow, one at a time spaced apart, and only when I am mentally ready.

What a wonderful medicine. I worked with it on the full moon and what an expansive experience. A smile wouldn’t leave my face for 6 hours. It gently said, look at this, it needs your attention. It was like having dialogue with a loving friend. The synergy between the hape and cocoon pills are perfect. I took 2. Could’ve def taken more but this was the perfect entry point and the presentation, packaging and intention all played a huge part. There’s nothing to consider if you are considering. Recently gave the Mariposa (with the associated prep meds) a spin. I followed the directions but went with the three pill option. Three rounds of the Mariposa Hape' (maybe four). After about forty-five minutes I entered a very deep meditative state that led to interesting discoveries. I also had a good energy sending session and a chat with my ever-present Guides/Angels. This lasted about 3 hours, after which I had a bite to eat (my late dinner). Oh my, that's when things took off. As often with Aya, the addition of gastric fluids for digestion led to a return to journey. And this was nuts, this is when my coordination dropped out and the trippy elements of the journey cranked up, along with the giggles. Yeah, I ended up purging my meal, but that's not an issue, the journey was beautiful and my connection to source was near Aya-like in connection and clarity. Well done folks! This looks to be a great tool for single journey explorations and healing sessions. Next is a two pill trial and after that, trials in ceremony with one other, then a few participants. FWIW, the next morning found me deep in the mellow zone. Moving slowly and with my thinky thing still in the meditation zone. I recommend experienced journeyers give this a shot and that those that lead intention driven ceremony give it a try. Regards, Dave

I’ve worked with entheogens and sacred plants for close to two decades. I’ve sat in ceremonies in and outside the jungle. I don’t use that word “medicine” lightly. Mariposa is medicine, and was as powerful for me as an ayahuasca ceremony in the jungle!

Worth the money. Quality product. The two products produce body high, introspection, and last multiple hours.
First time with this beautiful plan medicine. I didn't know what to expect but I did want to have a mystical experience (I always want to have mystical experiences lol). I did not experience that, but I did experience pure calm, tiredness. I relaxed into the tiredness because maybe it was stress that I didn't realize I had. Towards the end of the experience I purged just a tiny bit. But at the moment of purge, something happened. I no longer cared about money. Honestly, that's what I've been working on...trusting the universe to provide the means and the nudges so I can take inspired action. Become one with the energy of money because we are one. Learn to love money just as I love myself so that it can come and go as it pleases, while bringing me the abundance I seek. And in return, I will give back because energy has to circulate. Since then....I just have so much more understanding of the universal laws, how nothing exists and we really are co-creators with the Divine in this crazy place called Earth. When I walked outside, the colors were move vibrant and the sun beating down on me felt more like a warm hug than heat. I can't wait to try this again next month. I did one capsule, and I will do one capsule again. I don't feel the need to do two but who knows???
