Apurina Hapé Highlights
Apurina is a virgin blend (mapacho free)
- Benefits: Uplifting, Focus, self-awareness, relaxation, anti-anxiety
- Element: Water
- Energy: Feminine.
- Strength: Gentle
Apurina is a sweet and cleansing blend that connects us to the element of water and its feminine energy and natural flow. This light green hapé is known for its gentle and loving, yet powerful qualities. It comes from the Apurina tribe. Unlike regular hapé, Apurina is made without tobacco, and the leaves are sun-dried rather than fermented, making it a raw, living hapé. Its floral fragrance transports you to the heart of the jungle.
It is crafted with Awiry, an Amazonian plant that grows by riverbeds. Awiry profoundly stimulates the senses, serving as a meditation tool that sharpens perception and uplifts the spirit. It strengthens the spirit, cleanses the mind, enhances concentration, relaxes the body, and alleviates stress, anxiety, and depression. The sacred Awiry plant, harvested only during the dry season when riverbanks are accessible, is considered rare and special.
This green hapé produces a mild yet beautiful effect with traditional jungle overtones. The forest scents blend to create one of the finest Rapés. Frequent users of grey Rapé may find it gentle in small quantities, but when used with clear awareness, Apurina offers an intense, sharp, and deeply subtle experience. It serves as a mild yet intelligent tool for beginners, those seeking a new experience, or during a break from regular hapé. It also blends well with other tobaccos, Rapé, or ashes to create a unique mix. This batch of Apurina is an extremely fine powder. The Apurina tribe follows an old traditional recipe of which, the ingredients are an ancient secret... known to only tribe elders.
The Apurina Tribe
The Apurina who call themselves Popũkare, are predominantly found along the Purus River in the northwestern Amazon region of Brazil, in the state of Amazonas. Their population is spread over twenty-seven different indigenous lands along the Purus River, with a total estimated population of 9,487 people. The Apurinã language belongs to the Maipure family of the Aruaque trunk. The closest language would be that of the Machineri in the region of the upper Purus River.
They are famous for their rare and unique green Rapé.
