Colombian Cascabel Seed Anklet (Dancing Shaker)
Colombian Cascabel Seed Anklet (Dancing Shaker)
Beautiful Colombian Anklet shakers made from natural Cascabel Seed shells.
These are made lovingly by the Cofán tribe from the Putumayo region of Colombia.
These seeds are most commonly worn by shamans in the form of a large necklace/sash. Typically this specific seed type is worn as a primary sound maker by female shamans, or as a secondary shaker by Male shamans, who would pair it with another larger & deeper sounding seed necklace, like one made of pala or pangi shells.
Cascabels: A musical seed that is commonly used in shamanic traditions of South America. The seed is used to create vibrations that move the energy of the ceremony, create good vibrations for protection and to transmute bad energies.
Similar to the rattlesnake's tail, the distinct sound of cascabels serves as a shield against negativity and spiritual threats, indicating that one is under the protection of the Creator. For Amazonian indigenous tribes, seeds symbolize creation, ushering in blessings, aspirations, and positive prospects. These necklaces hold immense significance and potency because they embody the essence of abundance, the cosmos, and the entire universe. Wearing these ceremonial tools is an invitation into a realm of prosperity and optimism.
These anklets embody the resilience of the maternal force, acting as a conduit to unlock profound wisdom. Infused with prayers, calling the Creator to ready the mind to receive divine enlightenment. For the Ingano and cofan people, these seeds hold immense importance as their reverberations resonate through Creation, inviting the primal energy to bless and enrich their lives.
