The Condor is a powerful and important symbol in South America traditions. The Condor represents the energies of the heart, feminine energy, as well as looking at the bigger picture in our lives. 

The Condor is also an important part of the Incan prophecy of the eagle and Condor  which says that: "the day will come when the eagle of the north and the Condor of the south will fly together again in the same sky, wing to wing, and the world will come into balance."
