My experience with the Mariposa hapé was one of gentle yet profound restoration. From the moment of application, I felt a cooling, cleansing current move through me—as if the medicine itself were clearing old heaviness from my body and mind. I’m really surprised how much I liked this hape. I received this as a sample not having too many expectations for this, but to my surprise, the energy of this blend is very loving, healing, uplifting and purifying.

Mariposa is phenomenal. It’s gentle and loving, but incredibly powerful. I’ve worked with it a few times now, and each experience felt like a cross between a D.M.T microdose and a light mushroom journey. It’s hard to explain, but it’s deep.

My sweet spot was 2 cocoon capsules. 1 cap was gentle and soothing for the soul. 3 caps was much more intense (I would reserve this for more serious issues or full moon ceremonies) but still beautiful. Definitely order extra capsules so you can find your ideal dose.

The medicine came on slowly, building over about 10 minutes. The peak lasted over an hour, and I felt totally clear afterward—happy, light, and deeply connected. That afterglow stayed with me all day. It felt like being fully sober but on the best day of my life.

Over the weekend I shared Mariposa with a friend while camping. He’s been struggling with serious addictions to hard drugs. I’d been waiting on Mariposa for a while, and it did not disappoint.

Before the ceremony, I set my space with intention — candlelight, a little Palo Santo, and a few items on my altar that hold family meaning. About an hour before, I took the Cocoon Pill, which brought a gentle warmth through my body and an openness that felt like it was preparing me for what was to come.

When I introduced the Mariposa hape’, that warmth met the medicine perfectly. There was a brief moment where it felt like my body disappeared and only awareness remained — stillness, light, and deep peace.

It wasn’t like ayahuasca or some of the other ceremonies I’ve done — there were no big visuals or waves — but it was powerful in its own quiet way. The experience felt clean, balanced, and full of wisdom.

First time with this beautiful plan medicine. I didn't know what to expect but I did want to have a mystical experience (I always want to have mystical experiences lol). I did not experience that, but I did experience pure calm, tiredness. I relaxed into the tiredness because maybe it was stress that I didn't realize I had. Towards the end of the experience I purged just a tiny bit. But at the moment of purge, something happened. I no longer cared about money. Honestly, that's what I've been working on...trusting the universe to provide the means and the nudges so I can take inspired action. Become one with the energy of money because we are one.
